Santa

Last weekend Daddy was Santa! I didn't like him one bit! I mean, look at him....tell me he isn't scary..... or is he really? I couldn't quite decide. I wasn't too thrilled about being real close to him, but I was curious as to what the whole red suit was about!

Love You,
Drew

Here is a picture of me when I first met Santa. I kinda knew it was Daddy, but why was he dressed like that?

And then, he captured me again. I kept getting closer and closer... I guess this time I got a little too close!

I LOVED sitting (and climbing) at this table and chairs. Here is Mommy reading me a story. Look at that scary dude in the background!

When I escaped Santa, I had fun!

I love my Cheese Puffs!

Happy (Late) Thanksgiving

Hi Everyone!
We've been super busy lately it seems and time is getting away to quickly. Thought I'd share some recent pictures of...who else but ME! For Thanksgiving, Daddy's family came down. I was seriously working on getting some molars (which hurt by the way)so it wasn't the best of times for me. Here is a trip we took to the park, and I loved the slide and the swing!

Love You All,
Drew

Here's Daddy catching me as I go down the slide!

My cousin, Ashley, helping me go down the slide for the first time!

The swing was a ton of fun!

Don't I make a cute turtle?!?!

Pumpkin Patch

Last night we went to the Pumkin Patch and I had a ton of fun. I loved walking through the hay maze and playing with all the pumpkins! I could have played all day!
Enjoy the pictures!

Trip to Disneyland

For my 1st birthday, my mommy and daddy took me to Disneyland. I had a lot of fun, except for the Peter Pan Ride which really scared me. I loved Pirates of the Caribbean (and so did Daddy). We even got to sit in the front and got wet!!! It was a lot of fun! I didn't so much like waiting in the lines. They weren't too bad, but the couple we stood in made me very cranky! I loved Toon Town and driving the cars. It was SO much fun. Anyway, here are some pictures from my trip. As you can see, I got meet Goofy (who I liked from a good distance away) and Mary Poppins!
Well, enjoy and I'll talk to you soon.

Lots going on!

It has been a busy few weeks. Last Sunday Drew turned 1 year old. It's amazing how fast he's growing. We had a party for him on Saturday and he had a blast!!! He even got to eat cake (which he loved). I have some pictures that I will post this weekend.

We are all doing well. For those of you who don't know, Matt and I are expecting another baby in April. We are very excited!!!! I am feeling much better than I was at the beginning.

I will post pics soon!

Drew Walking

When we left Texas, we headed for Cloud 9 Ranch in Missouri to catch up with Matt's family. We had a lot of fun, but failed to take many pictures!! We rented a pontoon boat on the lake and Matt and I tubed for the first time in years. The next day we floated tubes down the river there. Here are some pictures from our trip:

Our camp:

A Road Trip

We recently took a road trip to the Midwest. Our first stop to the Texas area to see Aunt Terri and Uncle Denny. We started off in San Antonio where we took a boat ride on the River Walk and , of course, saw the Alamo. We then went back to Terri and Denny's to enjoy some relaxing by the pool.
Of course I LOVE pictures, so we took a ton! Here are a few from our trip:

Drew loved his new set of legos and riding in the truck they came in

Drew with Aunt Terri...they came to be quite good friends!

Drew loved chasing Putty, the cat, around. He never quite got her, but got much closer as the week progressed. She was still always one step ahead. It's amazing, she's the only one I know who is constantly one step ahead of him! :)

Matt and Drew "hanging out" by the pool.

Drew bonding with Uncle Denny.

We went to the pond to feed the ducks. There were a ton of them, so I kept my distance with the camera. It's just something about those beaks!!!!!

We left their house and headed to a Wild Animal Park outside of Fort Worth. When I found those beaks a little intimidating, I had no idea what I was in store for next! The place we went was really neat and Matt REALLY enjoyed it. We stayed in a tent camp and actually drove around feeding wild animals. Some people have no fear, it's amazing!

Here's Drew experiencing the animals at the other side of the car. Yes, my window is shut!!

Here we are at the restaurant we hit at the top of the trail. We were safely away from the animals... I think!!!!

The animals actually put their heads in the window and you give them food. Here is Terri feeding a zebra. It really is amazing and I loved watching everyone stick their hands in the mouths of wild animals!!

This deer, we named it 550 because that was the number in it's ear, was relentless. It fell in love with our car and was with us almost every step of the way. I think Matt kinda wanted to take it home!

Here is a giraffe we saw on our trip. They weren't all that into us, but Matt did get to feed one.

Okay.... as not to be criticized for my apparent lack of adventure, I gave in. I fed a zebra. There were signs all over that said "Zebras bite", but I did it! And here's the proof!!

Here's Drew acting silly at dinner that night:

A kinda funny thing happened the next morning. We were driving out of the park and 3 Giselles were in the road. The came after our truck (which is my dad's, so we were being very cautious) and we backed up the winding road to where our camp was and Terri and Denny were getting ready to leave. We let them go ahead of us, and Terri reached out and pet the "charging" giselles. Matt and I had a good laugh!!!!

We had a GREAT time!!!!!
