4th Surgery Pictures

Addie in the OR right before we handed her off to the Kelly, the OR nurse. She knew something was up and it broke my heart. She held onto Matt's face and didn't want to let go....



Immediately post-op. Not too swollen yet and looking pretty good...



There is a HUGE air vent right over her bed. Her body temp was a little low following surgery, so they covered her with warm blankets.....



Post-Op Day 2....Starting to balloon out a bit!



Another way Addie plays by her own rules...They try to position her and she kinda moves in her own position. Here is an example of her trying to make herself comfortable....



Addie room and all her equipment. We sit here each day just waiting for pumps to be turned off or taken down. She really hasn't been on too many drips this time...mostly just sedation...

Catch Up..

On Saturday, February 28th, we participated in the Heart Walk to help spread Heart Disease Awareness. We walked alongside other kids conditions and experiences similar to Addie's. It was a great experience for a great cause!




After the walk, we went to Red Robin for some lunch. Here is Drew and his buddy, Benson, playing a video game together.




The night before the walk, we came up to help celebrate Bela's first birthday. What a celebrating it was!

Drew's Day! We took Drew out for some well deserved "Drew Time".... We went to Chuckee Cheeses and Cold Stone. Talk about fun (if you're 2!)

Growing Everyday

Addie eating bananas...I think she's kind of getting used to them...

After bathtime, Drew and Addie were laying there so cute. Addie is so fascinated by Drew, can't say the same applies the other way! Here she is smiling at him...

Drew had enough! He decided he was ready to get dressed....




And now they are happy again!

she is tolerating not having the oxygen in for short periods of tim, so I took full advantage with some pictures! I can't believe how big she's getting...
