We decided to escape the 115 weather here and headed to San Diego for the day. The weather was BEAUTIFUL as always and we had a good time. We took Drew to the beach. He's been there a couple of times before, but he's finally getting to the point where he can enjoy it more. He played in the sand and touched his feet in the water.
After the beach, we wanted to do something a little different, so we took a boat out on the San Diego Bay. Of course, I grew up doing this kind of thing with our sailboat, but Matt had a blast. He can't stop talking about boats!
Anyway, here are some pictures of our trip.
Hard to imagine 115 degrees. It is high 50's and rain in UK on 7/1! There is a fire in the fireplace in the bar here. Anxious to get home. Too much rain and too much driving not to mention the crazy terrorists are at it again! See you soon -- GREAT PICTURES -- Drew is such a doll. Terri & Denny
