Christmas Tree Is UP....

....This Christmas tree is now officially the KIDS' Christmas tree! Last year we had an early Christmas at Thanksgiving time, so we bought this little tree for our house. It was our only tree last year for so many reasons. This year, I am looking forward to going and picking out a real one, but we decided to put this one up too. Drew immediately took charge of the decorating! It was easiER for me to let go of my "control freak" ways since I knew this wasn't going to be our only tree! So I let Drew go at it...with minimal guidance... and he had a blast! At least half of the ornaments are on the bottom branches of the tree...but that's OK :) The tree took all of his energy...so we will slowly be decorating! Good thing we started early!
